Helga

Helga is our multi-tasking superwoman! She is born and raised in Höfn in Hornafjörður and has lived in Selfoss most of her adult life so she knows the whole South coast like the back of her hand! As you can maybe see her hobbies include horses so if you want to know more about the Icelandic horse, Helga is the woman! Along with that, she also has years of experience in the restaurant and tourism industry and graduated at the top of her class in tourism studies back in 2010.

Fun fact: Did you know that the name Helga is a germanic name that means „holy“? And that describes her very well in the workplace, since she is our holy grail of knowledge and and entertainment.

Sigrún Þóra

Sigrún is our office bambino and social media expert. She loves food, drinks and history so I guess you could say she is definently in the right job! Sigrún just graduated from tourism studies in the university of Iceland this year and is filled with enthusiasm over ideas about tours and funstuff to do around Selfoss. Sigrún has always had one leg in here in Selfoss since a big part of her family lives here and she knows all the main spots in and around the town.

Pro tip: If you find her name hard to pronounce, she also answers to the name CeeCee

Jessica

Jessica is one of our amazing guides! She also studied tourism and has a lot of experience in the field. And on top of that she is an amazing chef! At the moment she is trying out a lot of different stuff with Icelandic ingredients that will hopefully be part of our future tours.

Fun fact about her is that she has the cutest dog with the strongest viking name, Odin, the viking God of war.
